I am almost sure i mentioned that somewhere on the internet before but I cannot for the life of me find any reference on any of my sites. So, I thought I’d do a quick entry here. If like me you spend many hours on your computer, you know all about eyes tireness. Well all is not lost, many months ago, I discovered RedShift, a cool program running on Linux which dims your screen in red shades to spare your eyes. It takes a bit to get accustomed to but it is really worth it in my opinion.

Here are the coordinates I use for Dublin, might be useful to someone: redshift -l 53.2:6.15 -t 5700:3600 -g 0.8 -m vidmode -v

I suggest taking a look at the man page to set the program to your liking.
